Lee Levingston Perine (he/him) was based in the DMV area at the time of this interview, and if you are Black and queer or trans in the DMV you have likely been to one of Lee’s events or parties. He has been a long-time leader, advocate, and facilitator of joy-filled spaces for Black queer and trans folk in the area, and this is his coming out story as a “trans man of lesbian experience”.
